Hi, I’m Mayra Ward—an interior designer and NYC native now happily rooted in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Blowing Rock and Boone.

My passion for design started early. Some of my favorite childhood memories are space-planning and rearranging my bedroom with my mom every few months, watching DIY shows together, and idolizing Martha Stewart. Those early moments sparked a lifelong love for thoughtful, intentional design.

For the past 18 years, I’ve built a fulfilling career creating spaces uniquely tailored to each client’s lifestyle and daily needs. I believe in investing in quality pieces, preserving long-term value, and designing interiors that feel luxurious yet livable for years to come.

I launched my career at just 18 years old as an intern at FurnitureLand South in the Luxury Linens Gallery, later becoming a full-time designer. Attending High Point Furniture Market allowed me to stay ahead of trends while deepening my appreciation for craftsmanship and timeless design. During this time, I developed a strong foundation in luxury bedding—learning how key pieces transform comfort and elevate one of the most important rooms in the home.

Much of my career has been spent in showroom design and residential staging, along with silk floral design and custom Hunter Douglas window treatments. I feel incredibly grateful to have gained experience across these many facets of design and to bring this well-rounded expertise to every client I serve.
